Chris Kowalik is the founder of ProFeds, and a nationally recognized federal employee retirement benefits expert and brings nearly two decades’ experience in the industry. She is a frequent speaker and trainer for federal employee organizations and financial service firms throughout the country.
She knows first-hand the challenges that so many face as they plan for and approach retirement. She believes that helping employees to take ownership of their decisions is the first step to making progress in meeting their retirement goals.
Chris is a former active duty U.S. Marine and served as an Arabic Linguist and Signals Intelligence Analyst prior to starting ProFeds.
She and her husband have three children and live in the Chicago, IL area.
Steve Selman is an active U.S. Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel with nearly three decades of military service including combat tours in Bosnia, Kosovo, Kuwait and Iraq. He spent over a decade mobilized in support of the War on Terror while assigned to U.S. Central Command in Tampa, FL.
His years as a financial advisor allowed him to serve the unique planning needs of military and federal employee families in Frankfurt Germany. This gave Steve keen insights into the many planning challenges facing those who serve our country.
Steve has earned his Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Communications degrees, and is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College.
Steve has four children and lives in the Tampa, FL area.
Ted Janusz, MBA, is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and Certified Virtual Presenter (CVP) and has delivered training programs to employee audiences for over 20 years.
Prior to joining ProFeds, Ted was one of the busiest speakers and trainers in America (facilitating 130 events in 2020). Ted has delighted audiences for over 7,500 hours in 49 of the 50 United States, across Canada from Halifax to Vancouver, in Australia, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
His works have been featured on BusinessWeek.com and MSNBC.com and he has been invited to appear on the FOX News Channel.
Ted earned his MBA in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ted, his wife, and four adult children live in the Columbus, OH area.
Joey Ford served as a pastor and counselor for over 25 years in the states of Ohio. Florida and Georgia. Working to help people in every area of life is his passion.
In 2009, he entered the business world working as an insurance agent, an analyst, and a retirement trainer for a financial planning firm. During these years, he learned the complexities and nuances of the federal employee’s retirement systems and has helped countless federal employees understand their benefits and navigate their decisions into retirement. For the last six years, Joey has utilized his experience solely as a retirement trainer.
Joey and his wife have 5 grown children. three beautiful grandchildren and live on a farm in Middle Georgia. He enjoys traveling with his wife, all things outdoors and the Georgia Bulldogs.
